| The tiny community of Boron is filled with history and well worth a stop. Boron is off State Highway 58, north of Edwards Air Force Base, about mid-way between Mojave and Barstow, in the Mojave Desert. Points of interest in the community of Boron include the Boron Twenty Mule Team Museum, the Saxon Aerospace Museum, Grandpa 53, and don't miss Desert Discoveries. About ten miles west is the Borax Visitor Center. |
